This is just the thing for a compact, portable speaker for my Clip+. I listen to books on electronic media and sometimes want to share with others.

One great feature is that it runs on AA batteries. I like that much better than having a built-in, rechargeable, non-replaceable battery that will wear out, making the device become useless after a while. Want rechargeable? They make AAs that way. It is a concept that more products should embrace.

Obviously the small speakers powered by 2 AA batteries won't fill a room with a pulse-pounding music experience, but it is perfect for many circumstances. The price is certainly right!
